Project Description
This was an 8(a) award for the US Army Corps of Engineers with the purpose completing the modification of the existing treatment system, the installation of a side-stream wastewater treatment facility and the installation of a recycled water distribution system for the production and delivery of recycled water. The work included the cleaning and lining of the existing Receiving Pond with a synthetic liner installation of two pumping stations to extract partially treated wastewater from the existing lagoon treatment system and installation of a vendor supplied dissolved air flotation unit (DAF), a synthetic media filter and chlorine disinfection system to produce recycled water compliant with California Title 22 Disinfected Tertiary Recycled Water standards. The distribution system included a pump station, remote storage tank, and associated piping to deliver recycled water for landscape irrigation, truck washing and non-potable indoor plumbing uses, and incidental related work.
